There were literal horses at this wedding. They were the ring bearers. How cool.
Ruth and Sam’s wedding was in Lachlan Macquarie Institute, in Murrumbateman, a rural area 30 minutes north of Canberra. It was a warm, sunny day.
They were both a part of Sydney Missionary & Bible College (SMBC) where they met at the venue, so it had a special place in their journey.
They held their ceremony in the grassy yard, with the shade and breeze bringing in just the right cool relief to the sweltering heat.
And then the horse was the ring bearer. What? Crazy.
Turns out Sam was a cowboy from Alice Springs and owns these 2 horses.
We also got some amazing photos with the horses during sunset golden hour and I genuinely felt so privileged to have the chance to photograph a wedding WITH HORSES.
